Mia Medved grabbed control early in the Section 2-AAA meet at Penn State Fayette and the Albert Gallatin senior didn无毛视频檛 slow down for a first-place finish by nearly two minutes.
Neither McKeesport or West Mifflin fielded a full team, so Uniontown, Connellsville and Albert Gallatin all won by the score, 15-50. The three local teams will run against one another in two weeks at Mingo Park in the section finale.

Medved crossed the finish line in 21:35 with Uniontown无毛视频檚 Arrington Scott second in 23:24 and Connellsville无毛视频檚 Abby Zavatchan third with a time of 23:39.
Medved didn无毛视频檛 have a race plan and admitted she missed not running with Trimmer.
无毛视频淣o, not really, I just went out and ran. I tried to run just off how I feel,无毛视频� explained Medved. 无毛视频� think it无毛视频檚 always better to have someone run with you, so when you want to give up or go a little slower you can无毛视频檛.

The senior didn无毛视频檛 run cross country last fall, but ran track in the spring.
无毛视频淚 always want to get through a meet healthy and I beat my time from my last meet,无毛视频� said Medved, adding with a laugh, 无毛视频淚 took a year off from cross country, so I kind of forgot what (cross country) was like. Running track is flat.无毛视频�
Scott said she just ran within herself, but missed having Trimmer running in the meet.
无毛视频�(Medved) is very good. I try to settle in a little bit and keep a good pace for myself. I just tried to keep it steady,无毛视频� said Scott. 无毛视频淚 liked being able to push myself a little bit, but I definitely miss Grace. I usually try my best to just run my base.无毛视频�
Zavatchan said she just tried to keep Scott in her sights.
无毛视频淚 kept my eyes on the Uniontown girl in front of me,无毛视频� said Zavatchan. 无毛视频淚 wanted to see how I would do against the Uniontown and AG girls, but I didn无毛视频檛 stress it.

Uniontown grabbed the next four spots after Zavatchan finished with Paisley Murtha (23:54), Addy Martin (24:19), Sadie Hostetler (24:37), and Emma Young (24:41) following across the line.
Connellsville无毛视频檚 Zoey Thomas broke the Uniontown run by placing eighth in 24:53.
With McKeesport and West Mifflin not fielding full teams, all Connellsville and Albert Gallatin needed was to have all five runners finish, and both teams did just that.
Connellsville无毛视频檚 Trinity Moore was 12th in 26:43, Hannah Tinkey placed 22nd in 32:17.23 and Brenna Groff clinched the victories with her 28th-place finish in 41:06.
Albert Gallatin无毛视频檚 Ashley Comaty (13, 26:48), Veronica Conn (17, 30:09), Savannah Keller (23, 32:32), and Jena Tate (27, 40:18) secured the spots necessary for the wins.
