Property tax bill will be a boon for Pa.’s rich

2 min read

Trump and the Republicans in congress passed a $1.5 trillion tax cut and 83 percent went to the top one percent. Another 9 percent went to millionaires like Scott Wagner.

Little of that tax cut went to the middle class. Wagner did not even give his employees a raise and now wants to up his garbage collection fees for small business and households. Wagner was the top Republican pushing for SB76 IHB76 called the Property Tax independence act. Act 76 does away with all property taxes not just residential property. Act 76 eliminates all property taxes resorts, golf courses, malls, rental housing, large and small businesses and of course land fills and skyscrapers owned by out of state banks and hedge funds.

WalMart gets a tax break at the consumers expense. We the middle class get a higher wage tax from 3.07 to 4.95 an increase on sales tax from 6 to 8 percent a sales tax on services like auto repairs and a tax on pharmaceuticals. The Republican Party in Pa. wants to make sure the top 1 percent get more of your money. Scott Wagner, Pat Stefano and Ryan Warner all back and endorse Act 76 and their logic is that the increased sales and wage tax will make up the difference. When the rich have it all America will be great again.

On Nov. 6, go out and vote. It’s your only chance to save yourself.
