Linda Lou Varndell, 68, of Hopwood, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, after a courageous battle, with her loving family by her side.
She was born December 21, 1956.
She touched the lives of those around her with her strength and unwavering spirit. Despite facing many challenges of her illness, she remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew Linda. Her legacy of love will be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her journey.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Henry Varndell; her children, Heather (Mike) Kolosky, Holly Varndell (James Gallo), and Henry (Jenn) Varndell Jr.; grandchildren, Maggie Varndell, Jaden Gallo, Sadie Varndell, Carson Varndell, Nathan Kolosky; brother, Howard (Tammy) Gordon; sister, Donna Tewell (Tony Carter); and in-laws, Ronald (Betty) Varndell, Ralph Dressel, Mark Morgon, and Russell Beatty.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Holland Gordon and Howard Cecil Gordon; brothers, Gary, Bill, and James Gordon; sisters, Shelly Savage, Joyce Beatty, Sheila Dressel, Diana Morgan, Helen Hileman, and Shirley Gordon; and in-laws, Betty Shaffer Varndell and Frank Seman Varndell.
Linda was a cook at Zeb’s Pizza and more of Chalk Hill for years. She was a member of Hutchinson 无毛视频man Club Ladies Auxiliary and the bingo boss. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Sajid M. Peracha and PA-C Ashley Miller for their care.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, where additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of the funeral service, Thursday, March 20, with Pastor Charles O’Brien officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
