Stephen Lynn Tollar, 72, of Uniontown, was called home to Glory Sunday, December 29, 2024, to rest and smile with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born January 3, 1952.
Stevie or “Hi Ho”, as he was affectionately known, was a native of Uniontown and a graduate of Uniontown Area High School.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and served in Vietnam.
Stevie was a devoted member of Interfaith Assembly for Christ. A loving father, uncle, and friend, Stevie possessed a beautiful spirit and a witty charm that endeared him to many. His infectious laugh was instantly recognizable, and his impact was felt by all who crossed his path.
He moved away from Uniontown for some years but later returned and built a successful lawn care business providing service to many throughout the area.
He will be forever remembered for his passion for family gatherings, his love of 70s R&B and jazz music, and his enjoyment of card games, tennis, and football games.
Stevie was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian “VT” Tollar; grandmother, Myrtle “MeMal” Ennis; brothers, Juan “Valdez” Tollar and Curt Tollar; grandson, Dondre Tyre Reighard; and nephew, Curtis T. “Dink” Bush.
Stevie is survived by his children, Toni Lynn Nicklo, Brandy (Joe) Hemphill, Alexander Huffman, and Colton Pazicni; grandchildren, Andrew, Camille, Amiah, Daylon “DJ”, Nautiya, Alaya, Cristian, Zayed, Vivian, and Alexander Jr.; brother, Barry Tollar; sister, Marlece “Lee Lee” White; trusted friend, Christopher Slade; and numerous nephews, nieces, other family, and friends.
Stevie leaves a treasure of memories to be cherished.
Services are entrusted to the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 297 E. Main Street, Uniontown, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., the time of the funeral service, Wednesday, January 8. Interment is private.
