Carmichaels
James H. White, II, 60, of Carmichaels, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. He was born May 6, 1964, in Mansfield, Ohio, a son of the late James Harold and Sharlene E. Miller White.
James grew up and lived most of his life in the Nemacolin and Carmichaels areas. He was a 1982 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School.
James was a former fireman and paramedic at Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Department and worked for several local ambulance companies. He later become a Registered Nurse in 2002 and worked for UMPC Presbyterian Hospital until 2015. James then worked from 2015 until his recent illness at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital.
He enjoyed the outdoors and loved watching any sports with his son, Brandon.
On March 12, 1994, he married Patricia R. Shuckhart White, who survives.
Surviving are a son, Brandon J. White of Carmichaels; three brothers: David P. White (Connie) of Morgantown; Dean M. White (Frances) of Reedsville, W.Va.; and Glenn Otis White of Finleyville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Wilbur L. White; and stepbrother, Ensil E. Miller.
Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., the time of a funeral service, Sunday, January 5, in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME, (724) 966-5500, Martin J. Yoskovich, funeral director and owner, and Aaron S. Walker, funeral director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, with the Rev. Andrew Gump, PhD officiating the service.
Interment will be private at the Greene County Memorial Park Cemetery.
