Shirley J. Gray

Shirley J. Gray, 78, of McClellandtown, died Thursday, September 12, 2024, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Uniontown on December 7, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Heinie and Esther Stickel Freiburg.
A graduate of German Township High School, Shirley worked for 28 years at the Twin-Kiss Dairy Queen on Route 21.
Surviving are her loving daughter and caregiver, June Thomas and husband, Gary, and devoted son, Marvin Gray, Jr. and wife, Maranda, all of McClellandtown; two grandsons, Gary Thomas, Jr. and O’Ryan Gray; a sister, Judy Mays of Lake Lynn; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Daniel and Ronald Freiburg; and two sisters, Dorothy Coffman and Betty Jean Freiburg.
Private graveside services for Shirley were held in the Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, under the direction of the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion.
