Carolina M. Welling, 100, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024, in Medina, Ohio.
She was born July 20, 1924, in Layton, to Camillo and Francesca Orsini Mellotti.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Welling and son, Ronald.
Carolina raised seven children (three sons and four daughters). Her family meant everything to her, and she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Her legacy will live on in her children: Donna, Thomas, Eleanor, Dennis, Darlene and Connie; her 17 grandchildren; and too many great-grandchildren to count.
The family will welcome friends from Noon to 2 p.m., the hour of her funeral service, on Wednesday, Sept. 4 in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis. Interment will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis.
