Kenneth Stanfield Switalski, 95, of Smithfield, died Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
He was born August 29, 1929, in Glendale, a son of Edward Sr. and Christine Lynn Switalski.
He was predeceased by sisters, Mary Ellen Switalski, Florence Brady, Loretta Arbogast; and brothers, Charles, Edward Jr. and Leonard Switalski.
Surviving are his wife of 74 years, Alberta Kingan Switalski; his daughter, Joyce Switalski Dean (husband Chuck) of Fairchance; two loving granddaughters, Leya Dean Fecek (husband Ronald) and Lauren Dean Ellsworth (husband Zachary); five great- grandchildren, Jocelyn, Isaac, Audrey, Seth and Norah Ellsworth, all of Fairchance; and the following sisters: Christine Moats of Masontown, Ada Parker, Erie and Dorothy Catalogna of Smithfield.
Kenneth was retired from his own contracting business. He attended White House Free Methodist Church for many years.
A private service will be held Friday, October 18, in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, Fairchance.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield.
