Janet M. Hayes, 82, of Fairbank PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
She was born on May 4th 1942, in Pittsburgh PA. She was a daughter of the late Elmer and Clara Brumm Hayes.
Janet was an LPN and retired from the Verland Home in 2008, after 19 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Shelley; three sisters, Dorothy Dattolo, Shirley Brant, Joanne Haye; her best friend, Lou Ellen Weekley; and her dog Heidi.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Janet is survived by her five nieces and nephews and loving dog Holly.
A very special thank you to all of her family and friends who helped during her illness.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 18th, 2024 in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, PA. A Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating.
