Maxine Anderson
Maxine Anderson, 86, of Marklesyburg, passed away to go home to be with her lord and savior, with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
She was the daughter of Hobart and Goldie Herring, who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by nine siblings; and her husband, Robert E. Lee Anderson, Sr., who passed away April 30, 1990.
She is survived by siblings: Mary C. Hobart, Mary B. York and James Herring (Lisa); her four sons: Robert E. Lee, Jr. (Yvonne), Randy (Debbie), Richard (Kim) and Rodney; one daughter, Brenda Mitchell (Hank); 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a member of the Markleysburg Union Church, a charter member of the Markleysburg Henry Clay Firemans Ladies Auxiliary and a Member of the Mountain Citizens Action Group, where she made many dear friends over the years.
Friends will be received at the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday December 18, and on from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, on Thursday, December 19, with Pastor Gary Workman and Pastor Mike Grantz officiating.
