Douglas Victor Hoehn, 79, passed away at his home in Ohiopyle Thursday, December 12, 2024.

He was born June 26, 1945 in Fort Benning, Ga., a son of Victor Hoehn and Leona Wieging Hoehn of Fort Jennings, Ohio.

He retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources in 2004, culminating as the park superintendent of Ohiopyle State Park, after 32 years of service.

He was a member of the Ohiopyle-Stewart Community Center Board of Directors and Ohiopyle- Stewart Volunteer Fire Company.

Doug was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps; Semper Fi!

Doug was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Alice Hellman Hoehn.

Remarried, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Hoehn; and children, Col (USAF Ret) Mark Hoehn and Jules of Las Vegas, Nev., Brian Hoehn of Dundee, Mich.; Vicki Osman and Marc of Montgomery Village, Md.; three grandchildren, Josh, Katelyn and Emily; stepchildren, Dana Mitchell and Allen of Chalk Hill, and Andrew Nicholson and Cheryl of Havertown; and stepgrandchildren, Sara, Ryan and Matthew.

Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, December 16, in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Farmington.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ohiopyle-Stewart Community Center, P.O. Box 70, Ohiopyle, PA 15470.
