Mr. John M. “Jack” Hudock, 76, of Uniontown, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Uniontown Hospital.

He was born in Masontown, to the late John and Dorothy Pilipovich Hudock.

Jack married Leslie Brown, on November 11, 1967, in Masontown.

He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve.

Jack was a member of the former St. Thomas Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 51 and the Knights of Columbus 1275.

Jack owns and operated the Carmine’s House of Furniture in McClellandtown for 46 years. He had previously worked at General Electric as manager in the finance department, and previously co-owned the Sunset Bar.

He was an avid golfer in his earlier years, enjoyed going to Las Vegas to gamble and also loved watching sporting events, especially his granddaughters swim meets.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Hudock of Uniontown; two lovely daughters, Heather Ciez and husband, Frank of Uniontown and Hilari Thomas and husband, William of Indiana, Pa.; grandchildren: Brittany VanSickle, Ella and Addie Ciez and Phoebe, Micah and Asher Thomas; two sisters, Connie Lewis of Pittsburgh and Barbara Cain of Coraopolis; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Sean Michael Hudock.

Friends and family are invited for calling hours at the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30. The funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1. Interment is in Lafayette Cemetery.
