Navy Command Master Chief Ron Shroyer was training a group of new counselors for the VA when the first plane hit the World Trade Center Tower at 8:46 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2001.

On Wednesday, Shroyer recalled for those assembled at the 9/11 observance in Connellsville the angst and fear as they all watched the horror unfold.

无毛视频淚t was (the counselors无毛视频) first day on the job, and as we were watching and listening to the news, the second plane came and hit the second tower,无毛视频 he said. 无毛视频淭he expressions and the screams from those young people is something I will never forget.无毛视频

Patty Barnhart, a sergeant with Connellsville auxiliary police, was working security at an airport the day of the terrorist attack. While Barnhart said it was a day she无毛视频檒l never forget, she said she is worried that future generations will not understand the significance of what occurred.

无毛视频淚t无毛视频檚 something that people should never forget because our country changed that day,无毛视频 Barnhart said.

The conclusion of Shroyer无毛视频檚 remarks were somber, leaving a stillness in the air as he left the stage.
