German Township man accused of ramming vehicle with pickup truck.

By Mike Jones 1 min read

A German Township man is charged with three felony counts of aggravated assault and one charge of felony child endangerment after state police said he rammed another vehicle during a road rage incident Saturday.

Police said James Wayne Fisher, 42, was driving on Route 119 near Route 21 in South Union Township shortly after 7 p.m. when his pickup truck crashed into the rear of a vehicle driven by Charles Louie.

Louie and his girlfriend, Candace Fisher, who is Fisher’s ex-wife, along with another person, were inside the vehicle that was struck, although police did not say what precipitated the crash.

James Fisher continued driving before his pickup truck broke down. He and a woman, along with a 3-year-old child, who were also in the pickup truck, then got out and left in another vehicle. Police said Fisher was driving on a suspended license at the time of the incident. He is also facing a charge of accident involving damage and several summary counts.

An arrest warrant for Fisher was filed Sunday at District Judge Daniel Shimshock’s office. Police did not say if anyone was seriously injured in the crash.
