Give-A-Christmas donations continue to arrive
Total: $4,837
Goal: $15,000
With a little more than one week to go, the Give-A-Christmas fund is inching closer to reaching its $15,000 goal to help support The Salvation Army and local people in its service area.
“I know our readers will come through and help the campaign reach its goal,” said Sparkle The Christmas Star, the Give-A-Christmas mascot. “We are fortunate to have so many kind and generous people who are willing to help those who need a hand.”
The annual campaign, in its 37th year, supports programs at local units of The Salvation Army, including those in Uniontown, Markleysburg, Connellsville and Masontown.
Donations stay in the donor’s service area, allowing the contributions to make a truly local impact.
Updates to the funds raised are published several times a week in the 无毛视频-Standard, with the final total announced in the Christmas Eve/Christmas Day edition of the newspaper.
“If you’re thinking about donating, please consider doing so soon, and thank you to all those who have supported our effort so far,” said Sparkle.
An additional $620 was donated Monday, with the most recent contributions from:
