Greene County home damaged in fire
A home at 591 Pettit Road, Morris Township, Greene County, was badly damaged by fire Monday morning.
According to Waynesburg-Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company, crews received the call at around 9:20 a.m., and the house was engulfed in flames when they arrived.
The occupants of the home escaped without injury.
Assisting were firefighters from Jefferson, Amwell, Bulger, Morris Township, Center, and Rices Landing departments.
The state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
