WVU Medicine adjusts services of Uniontown-area outpatient services due to snow

WVU Medicine Uniontown-area outpatient clinics will be providing limited, in-person, outpatient services on Monday, Jan. 6 due to the winter storm expected to last through the evening.

Details regarding outpatient services are:

-All outpatient physician practices will be open and seeing patients with scheduled appointments. In some instances, patients will receive notice if their appointment was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Please call ahead if you need to reschedule or have delays in arriving for your scheduled appointment time.

-The Outpatient Diagnostic Center will be open and providing lab and imaging services.

-Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Wound Care services will be open and seeing patients with appointments.

-Cancer infusion services at the WVU Cancer Institute will be available for patients with existing appointments.

-The WVU Heart and Vascular Institute will also see patients with existing appointments for certain cardiac diagnostic screening tests including ECHO, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEEs) and stress tests. The outpatient Cardiology clinic located on the Uniontown Hospital campus will be closed.

Patients with questions about their appointment can call their clinic directly or 855-988-2273. WVU Medicine will reach out to patients later in the week to reschedule any canceled appointments.

Inpatient services at Uniontown Hospital will not be impacted, and the Emergency Department is open.
