Vinny无毛视频檚 Pizza employee Stephanie Gourn with the object used to smash Vinny无毛视频檚 Pizza door on Labor Day morning.

Before opening his store on one of the busiest days of the year, Matt Singh, owner of the Fuel & GO in South Union Township, learned his business was one of several in the area targeted by vandals.

无毛视频淚 had to close down for several hours on Labor Day and spend about $1,200 to fix my door. There was glass all over the place and I didn无毛视频檛 want my customers to get hurt,无毛视频 Singh said Wednesday.

Fuel & GO, on Dixon Avenue, was among at least four other businesses in Uniontown and surrounding areas that were vandalized over the last week when large objects were thrown through doors or windows.

The rash of criminal mischief have prompted police to increase patrols in the area, but no arrests have been made. While police aren无毛视频檛 certain if the incidents are connected, security footage from the Fuel & Go and nearby Vinny无毛视频檚 Pizza appeared to show the same person at both locations.

The Fuel & GO vandalism occurred just before 6 a.m. on Labor Day. Security footage shows a masked person holding what appears to be a cinder block running across the parking lot and throwing it at the glass door. The glass doesn无毛视频檛 break, the vandal throws the cinder block at the window a second time.

Moments later, footage captures Sunny Singh, who manages the gas station, arriving for his shift.

无毛视频淯sually I无毛视频檓 here by 5 a.m., but because it was the holiday, I didn无毛视频檛 have to open until 6,无毛视频 Sunny Singh said. 无毛视频淚t无毛视频檚 kind of messed up, I could have been here for that.无毛视频

About 10 minutes later and just about 1000 feet away, what appears to be the same man is caught on camera on Lebanon Avenue at Vinny无毛视频檚 Pizza carrying what appears to be a large brick.

Footage shows the person pacing in the parking lot for about 10 minutes before smashing the window of the business.

无毛视频淚t无毛视频檚 sad,无毛视频 said Vinny无毛视频檚 Pizza General Manager Stephanie Gourn. 无毛视频淭hese local businesses are just trying to keep afloat and then somebody has to destroy our property. It无毛视频檚 hard enough as it is.无毛视频

Gourn said she spent over $800 to fix the door.

无毛视频淚 gave the staff the day off because it was a holiday, but I got called in to deal with this, and it无毛视频檚 just awful,无毛视频 she said.无毛视频 Uniontown is just getting bad.无毛视频

Days before the damage at Vinny无毛视频檚 and Fuel & GO, two businesses in Uniontown were also vandalized.

Harison Laskey, co-owner of Potters Grill on Morgantown Street, said he walked in on Thursday morning to a large rock underneath one of his tables and a hole through his front window

无毛视频淚t无毛视频檚 upsetting,无毛视频 Laskey said. 无毛视频淵ou无毛视频檙e going to cause a couple thousands of dollars无毛视频 worth of damage, for what? Businesses are already struggling to find staff and have enough problems, why make it harder?无毛视频

Laskey said he was able to keep his business open, using tape to cover the hole until he was able to replace the window.

O.A.K Pizza in Uniontown also reported vandalism of a similar fashion on Friday, police said.

Both Uniontown Police Lt. Tom Kolencik and state police Trooper Rocco Gagliardi said investigations are ongoing.

无毛视频淚 always encourage people to be vigilant,无毛视频 Kolencik said. 无毛视频淎nd if you see something suspicious, that无毛视频檚 what we无毛视频檙e here for. Call 911 无毛视频 it could be nothing, but I would sooner us rule out that it无毛视频檚 nothing. Let us determine and try to resolve it before it continues or even gets worse.无毛视频
