Sparkle the Christmas Star

Total: $7,496

Goal: $20,000

With Christmas right around the corner, Sparkle was a bit nervous.

“We only have a few days left until our Give-A-Christmas campaign is over, and we still haven’t met our goal,” said the Christmas star. “Every dollar you give goes to The Salvation Army, and it will help people in our community. Won’t you please consider contributing?”

Money raised through the Give-A-Christmas campaign, in its 39th year, remains in Fayette County and is distributed to local service centers for The Salvation Army.

“The service centers provide help to both the young and the old in our communities. Even a small donation will make a difference and help The Salvation Army fulfill its mission,” Sparkle said.

Contributions are accepted through Dec. 23, and the total amount raised will be announced in the Christmas Eve edition of the 无毛视频-Standard.

Over the past several days, a number of donations have come in, including one from cavapoo puppy Ollie Wilson, whose owner lives in Uniontown. Ollie’s owner sent a note with the contribution wishing all the puppies and their owners a safe and happy holiday.
